CG Environment Creation

Environments live or die on scale cues and dressing, not on polygon count.

CG environment work builds an entire location in 3D — terrain, structures, foliage, dressing, atmosphere and light. At Fuke's Media LLP, cg environment creation sits inside a single end-to-end visual production pipeline, so the same team that plans a shot can also finish it — no handoffs between disconnected vendors, no version drift, no surprises in the final conform.

A fully digital environment can be re-lit, re-timed and reframed for any shot in the sequence long after any location would be unavailable. That is why production houses, OTT commissioners, agencies and brands bring this scope to a specialist partner instead of absorbing it in-house: dedicated artists, predictable turnaround, and a review loop that keeps the director in control of every frame.

We build modular kits and scatter systems so a single environment can service dozens of shots at different scales. Every project starts with a technical breakdown — plate audit, colour pipeline, resolution and frame-rate targets, delivery specs — before a single artist is assigned. Shots are tracked individually through 5 production stages, and each stage has a named owner and an approval gate.

Environments are reviewed at hero-shot resolution and stress-tested with the widest camera in the sequence. Deliverables leave the studio only after an internal QC pass covering Environment scenes and asset kits, Rendered environment plates, Real-time Unreal versions on request and any client-specific delivery template. Where a project needs it, we work directly inside the client's own naming convention, folder structure and review platform.

Environments live or die on scale cues and dressing, not on polygon count. Whether the scope is a handful of hero shots or a full-season episodic volume, the workflow scales the same way — the same pipeline, the same QC, the same single point of contact from bid to final delivery.

Asset kit build: Modular architecture, props and terrain.

Scatter & dressing: Vegetation, debris and life-scale detail.

Lighting & atmosphere: Time-of-day lighting, volumetrics and weather.

Render & comp: AOV rendering and multi-pass assembly.

Use case: Fantasy and sci-fi worlds

Use case: Historic reconstructions

Use case: Aerial and establishing shots

Use case: Real-time LED volume backgrounds

Deliverables: Environment scenes and asset kits; Rendered environment plates; Real-time Unreal versions on request.

Can the environment be reused for a game or real-time build? Yes, we can deliver both an offline-render and a real-time optimised version.

How do you keep render times manageable? Instancing, LODs and per-shot pruning of geometry outside frustum.

Can you build from drone photography? Yes — photogrammetry from drone plates is a common starting point.
