Object Removal Services

Removal is really reconstruction — what matters is what goes back in.

Object removal deletes unwanted elements from a plate and rebuilds the background that was hidden behind them. At Fuke's Media LLP, object removal services sits inside a single end-to-end visual production pipeline, so the same team that plans a shot can also finish it — no handoffs between disconnected vendors, no version drift, no surprises in the final conform.

Locations rarely cooperate: modern signage in a period film, a competitor's logo in a brand film, a crew member in frame on the only usable take. That is why production houses, OTT commissioners, agencies and brands bring this scope to a specialist partner instead of absorbing it in-house: dedicated artists, predictable turnaround, and a review loop that keeps the director in control of every frame.

Where camera movement allows, we use 3D projection so the reconstructed background moves with correct parallax rather than sliding. Every project starts with a technical breakdown — plate audit, colour pipeline, resolution and frame-rate targets, delivery specs — before a single artist is assigned. Shots are tracked individually through 4 production stages, and each stage has a named owner and an approval gate.

Every removal is checked at full resolution for parallax error, grain mismatch and edge halos. Deliverables leave the studio only after an internal QC pass covering Clean plate sequences, Reconstructed background elements, Before/after breakdown and any client-specific delivery template. Where a project needs it, we work directly inside the client's own naming convention, folder structure and review platform.

Removal is really reconstruction — what matters is what goes back in. Whether the scope is a handful of hero shots or a full-season episodic volume, the workflow scales the same way — the same pipeline, the same QC, the same single point of contact from bid to final delivery.

Camera solve: 3D track to enable parallax-correct projection.

Clean plate build: Background reconstruction from surrounding frames or stills.

Projection & paint: Reconstruction applied and hand-finished.

Grain & QC: Grain regrain and full-res review.

Use case: Brand and logo removal for clearance

Use case: Crew and equipment removal

Use case: Period anachronism removal

Use case: Vehicle and signage replacement

Deliverables: Clean plate sequences; Reconstructed background elements; Before/after breakdown.

Can you remove something that is moving and overlapping the actor? Yes, though it becomes a roto-plus-paint shot and is priced in a higher complexity band.

Is logo removal enough for legal clearance? We remove the mark completely including reflections and partial glimpses; clearance sign-off remains with your legal team.

How long does a typical removal shot take? Simple static removals turn around within a day; parallax-heavy shots take several.
